The President of Exel came to the Rio Grande Valley in 1998 with a dream and vision. His vision was to team up with OEM's that faced high prices and average to poor quality along the border and in Mexico. His dream and focus is to build strong team relationships between the customer and his company. Exel leads the example of the small molders dedications to quality and price, rather than the larger molders, take-a-number policy.

Exel specializes in products that require a cosmetic appearance. The type of consumer products you would see on a counter top in your kitchen. We realize our customers take pride in their products and so do we. Our nitch is molding type of products that other molders have problems with. Exel meets the customers quality requirements so that the customer can show case there products. Exel enjoys helping OEMs with their products that they just want to look good. Why settle for average products, when Exel can meet your requirements.
Our in house tool repair is fast and accurate. We save our customers time money by revising small insert and details in-house. Outsourcing repairs and revisions is costly and is hard to get done fast enough to meet customers production requirements. Quality is most important when working on a customers mold; another disadvantage of outsourcing tooling, quality is always an excuse.
All our customers molds are maintained in-house and inspected after every production run with recording and providing a maintenance schedule for each mold. We understand that our customers molds are expensive and treat them if they were our own.
Exel operates under the ISO 9000:2008 standards. It is important to have standard operating procedures in the global market. The ISO 9000 series of documents was created by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as international requirements for quality management systems. The term ISO9000 refers to a group of quality management standards which are process standards.
Every product begins with a spark of inspiration: a problem in need of solution, an opportunity ripe for picking, and a concept discovered on the way of something else. Exel goes step by step in developing successful products for our clients. If you are looking for a company that will provide valuable property and get you to market quickly without wasting creativity, then lets get started.
Exel utilizes statistical process control when producing products. S.P.C. involves using statistical techniques to measure and analyze the variation in processes. The intent of S.P.C. is to monitor product quality and maintain processes to fixed targets. Statistical quality control refers to using statistical techniques for measuring and improving the quality of processes and includes S.P.C. in addition to other techniques, such as sampling plans, experimental design, variation reduction, process capability analysis, and process improvement plans. S.P.C. is used to monitor the consistency of processes used to manufacture a product as designed.
Exel has many innovating ways to save our customers time and money. We design our business around new innovated technology and lean manufacture techniques to help reduce our customers bottom line. Our customers deserve a quality product for a lower cost.
